The Georgia Association of Public Accountants, founded in 1958, is a professional accounting organization dedicated  to promoting excellence in the practice of public accounting in Georgia.

Affiliated with the National Society of Accountants, GAPA is open both to licensed and unlicensed accountants and works with the State Board of Accountancy, the Legislature, and other professional societies to protect the practice rights of  Georgia accountants.
